Topic: Availability in Canada
Message: Are these
neat bikes available in Canada?
If not, could I purchase one from a U.S. dealer and import it into Canada?
(are there any Canadian restrictions that you know of?)
Thanks,

Topic: ignition
Message: looking for some help. i own an enfield 1978 model in india.
i want to convert to a contactless ignition system. i believe boyer bransden
makes the relevant kit. anyone tried a retrofit on an old bike? is the
kit a simple screw-in type of job or will i need to change my electrics?
'preciate any help on this.
The Boyer unit will work in
all 12 volt Enfields. It is a simple and painless
installation process. No drilling etc, it just bolts right on with no
other
modifications

Topic: warranty
Message: do all re mc's have the same warrantys also what is the warranty
on replacement parts
I can only speak for the bikes
sold in the United States. In the US the Royal
Enfields have a 12 month/9,000 parts and labor warranty. The parts you
may
purchase from us (Classic Motorworks) generally have a one year warranty.
(See our catalog or e-store at www.enfieldmotorcycles for details and
exclusions)

Topic: cozy side cars
Message: nice website. I have known the Enfield maque since the late
1960,s. Now that I am old I can afford to buy one. I wish the Royal Enfield
company would add a web page providing detailed information of the cozy
side car, it's marriage to a 500 cc Royal Enfield and the final cost at
the end of the day. Now that I can afford a Royal Enfield I need the extra
wheel to have a safe ride.
You are qite
correct, we do need to add more information to the site about
the sidecars. They are available from any of our dealers. The MSRP is
$2595

Topic: New Rider
Message: Wow, I just found an ad in a magazine and checked out your
website! I'm 47 and haven't been on a bike since I was in high school.
I'm wanting to get one and have been looking a the Triumph because I love
the retro looks but I think I've found the bike I want right now! I was
just wondering how fast these things go (not that I'm gonna ride it fast)
and was wondering how they ride with two people. Is there a weight limit?
We both aren't nearly as slim as we were in high school, you know!
Thanks,
Gary
