Topic:
Message: Could the Enfield 500 bullet
make it cross country no worry's ?
This
is an interesting question. The answer is yes and no. If you want to really
see the country travel on secondary roads, ( generally 2 lane with
a 55 mph speed limit), are willing to perform simple maintenance along
the way, (adjusting valves, points, checking oil, tightening this and
that, in other words be involved with the bike), meet lots of great people
and curiosity seekers, tell the Royal Enfield story about every 50 miles
or less then yes it can be done. However if you just want to get on the
bike and go by freeway at 65-80 mph, be in danger of falling asleep at
the wheel because it runs like sewing machine, never turn a head wherever
you go, then the Royal Enfield is the wrong bike.

Topic: shifter linkage
Message: Hey folks,
Looking at buying a '95 Bullet, RH shift. I know this is 'correct' but
I learned on NA'n bikes (LH shift). I've seen a kit to convert the Bullet
back to a RH shift, but what's involved for someone like me to swith back
again to LH shift? I may put high bars and forward controls on this bike
as well, which would let me run any linkage in front of the engine rather
than through the cases.
Any (constructive) comments

Topic: Left-hand retro retro-fit
Message: Hi. I'm looking at a North American RE that has been
converted back to RH shift, but I want to convert it back to LH shift
(sorry, that's what I learned on). Can anyone help by telling me what
parts I might need? Fabricate something on me own?
atchbo@wildmail.com
You
can order the parts from us at 800-201-7472 or you could call some of
our dealers and see if they have the parts which are left over from a
conversion from LH to RH shift

Topic: Bullet 350 vs 500 ?
Message: Hi Folks,
I'm thinking of buying a Bullet this spring. I'm drawn to the 350 because
of the higher compression, better gas mileage.. The only difference between
the two models I can see after much research is that the 350 has a lower
top speed (70mph vs 75mph),lower price,lighter weight,and less accessories
available. Are there any Bullet 350 owners out there that could tell me
of their experience with the bike? My main concern is the 350 as reliable
as the 500?

Topic: Bullet 500 re-jetting
Message: I just brought a RE bullet 500 back from Denver, CO,
where the elevation was about 6k ft, to Las Vegas, NV, which has an elevation
about 2k ft. Does anyone know the best jet sizes for this change. The
bike is running great when the choke is "On". Help.
llordmerciless@cox.net
the
factory main jet is a 110. It should work fine for you. If you prefer
try a 115 and then read the spark plug.

Please contact Miin

This
is a one shot thing. We normally do not allow "For sale bikes"

Bullet we decided to allow this one ad.
