Topic: Import from Canada to US
Message: I am looking at a 1995 Enfield Military that is in Canada. It is the only one I have seen that has matte black where chrome is shiny on US models. I would like to buy this bike but am afraid of being able to import it. I have tried to resesarch DOT, EPA, Customs and haven\'t had much luck. Can I do it? Will it have to be extensively modified? Is it worth the effort? Any help is much appreciated!

Topic: customer satisfaction
Message: I just want to give Kevin and all the staff at Classic Motorworks my thanks. I purchased my Bullet last summer on E-bay,but that's another sad tale, after trailering the bike to Perry's motorcycle and sidecar in Fort Worth (who by the way I has nothing but praise for, another class operation) I found I would need to purchase a short block from Classic to get my ride back on the road. After around 1000 tender loving miles the connecting rod let go and totaled the engine, you can guess how upsetting this was.I know this was a freak incident and all it took was one call to the folks at Classic Motorworks to let me know they would stand behind their product, and shipped a new short block no charge. I picked up my bike at Perry's last Friday and have begun the break-in period once again. Having ridden for over 35 years on many different brands, I have to say the Bullet really is a joy to ride on my east Texas backroads ,and the most fun I've had in a long !
time. Thanks again to everyone at Classic, you folks know how a company should be run.

Topic: Bullet 65 Gearbox Lubricant
Message: In performing the 500 maintenance on my Bullet 65's gearbox, I noted that the oil I drained from it was noehere near as thick as the Veedol 00 grease I bought to replace it. Does the 5 speed require a different gear lube than the 4 speed?
Thanks,
Larry
email: thillld@yahoo.com
Yes all of the 5-speeds require conventional gear oil instead of the grease that is used in the 4 speeds

Topic: Bike stallls when you let go of the throttle.
Message: My new bullet 65 stumbles and stalls if the throttle isn\'t held in an advance position. In other words, you can\'t let go of the throttle at a standing position or down shifting when coming to a stop. If you do, the bike stalls. Is there an adjustment on the carb, or is this fixed by changing the cable length at the carb. There appears to be no place to adjust the length of the cable at the handlebar. What is the proper method of setting the idle speed so the bike won\'t stall everytime you let go of the throttle?
Thanks to anyone who can help.
