The new Unit Construction Royal Enfields with Electronic Fuel injection are here and available at most of our dealers.

We have spent a good deal of time this winter traveling around the country putting on training seminars for our dealers so that they are fully informed and trained to sell and service this new motorcycle. The Classic version of the new bike is available in Black and Velvet Green (British Racing Green) while the Chrome model Deluxe is available in Red and Black. While the look of the bikes are very similar to the Classic bikes we have always sold, there are a few key differences.

Dateline – Cycle Icons – Bordentown N.J.

A team of two engineers and the director of service for Royal Enfield arrived in Bordentown fresh from India on Monday. Mr. Sarvesh is an engine designer, Mr. Hari is an Electronic Fuel Injection engineer and Mr. Vikram is in charge of service for Royal Enfield.This two day event is the first of three such events on the east coast, Midwest and west coast to be held  over the next 10 days. It is the precursor to the introduction of the new engines which well be reaching our shores soon.

I attended the annual importers meeting at the Intermot show in Cologne, Germany. As always, it was a lot of fun. The Intermot show occupies more than 11 huge convention center buildings. I spent 3 days looking around and still didn’t cover everything!

The new bike was unveiled by Royal Enfield Motors CEO R.L. Ravishendran at INTERMOT in Cologne, Germany. The new motorcycle, which is called the Bullet Classic C5, is new in every respect and is Royal Enfield’s announcement to the world that it is here to stay (and hey, it’s already been here longer than anyone else, anyway!).
