This is a cool older ad made for Royal Enfield. Notice that they use the name Enfield and not Royal Enfield. This puts the ad in at least pre 1999.
This is an older ad for the introduction of the Electra model in India (Note the Electra model sold in India is not the same as the Electra model sold in the USA. The name Electra originated because it was the first Royal Enfield with an electronic ignition).

I got the following e-mail from our own ScooterBob today, it speaks for itself.
Is it just ME – or does everyone make one of these EXCEPT Royal Enfield?? It’s a great concept … I’ll bet it’ll run, too – like a tractor on steroids! If the 700ccm version made about 42hp, it’d be on par with the engines “in the day†…. And you KNOW it’d uproot a tree stump …… I like it …. Hahaha!!!

This narrated video, produced by Royal Enfield Motors, is an interesting look into Royal Enfield in India. It has some great shots of the Royal Enfield factory and the Royal Enfield brand store in Chennai, with all of their modern amenities.
The narrator also gives some good insight into the modern processes Royal Enfield Motors is using to continually improve quality while maintaining an attractive price point.

This is a great excerpt from the award-winning film by Gaurav Jani. It’s a documentary of his amazing solo motorcycle journey from Mumbai, India across incredibly cold and difficult terrain to one of the most remote and isolated places in the world, the Changthang Plateau, on the Chinese border. He made this incredible trip on his Royal Enfield, weighed down with more than 220 pounds of supplies.
