BEST cheap headlight,EVER!
« on: April 09, 2013, 03:54:22 AM »
Half way to work today,my headlight went out...daylight,no biggie, but,I do like the extra (assumed) visibility...SO...on the way home, stopped and bought (and installed) a Wagner H6024XV...HOLY CRAP...like night and day...better low beam, better high beam, dip switch works...after dark, this thing cuts like a spot light...cost?...$15.99,at Advance Auto...the pilot lights on the nacelle DO dim a bit when you switch to high beam, but other than that,no complaints...I LOVE IT!!!Wider spread than any other headlight on my bikes...I'll be replacing all of my headlights with this one,and keeping a few spares at the house!

Hell yeah!  I JUST got home from work myself (I'm an Assistant Manager for Advance Auto in Downtown Denver).  I have that exact same bulb installed on my Trailblazer that I picked up from Advance as well, except I got my employee discount on mine.   ;)  And yes, the Sylvania XVs are great bulbs.

I had a $13.00 Sylvania sealed beam in mine. Worked great!

So the Sylvania H6024XV will work and not blow fuses or burn down the wiring harness?

Aboslutely!!!  As long as you have a 7" headlight housing, the Sylvania H6024XV is the way to go.
