Well as an update the installation of the Minda 7" the C-5 bulb I ordered from England. will not fit :-\

So rather than send for and pay 10 bucks for another bulb on sleeze-bay I bought a 7" sylvania Halogen three prong plug and replaced the minda unit in the back of the retaining ring.

This leads me to wonder if you were to buy the 7" riing alone - I am sure the standard 3 prong halogen bulbs would fit and its plug and play for the newer Enftelds.

 should work well.

Maybe so would:

Here is a picture of a Sylvania   7"  Halogen bulb in the Minda Chrome surround - plug it in after removing the old one. No wires to cut or change and no separate bulbs
