What did you do on your non Royal Enfield motorcycle today?

I rode my Triumph T100 a little didn't do anything to it.

I have had it for a couple of months I like it.  I know there are faster, smoother, cheaper bikes out there but I am going thru my British bike phase in life right now.  I just wanted a little more power for those times when the wifey wants to ride.  I still enjoy the Enfield and plan to keep them both.  And yes willw the W650 is a nice bike but they are a little hard to find.

Changed oil in my old 78 wing 3250 miles never used a drop , well could've used one drop. wife and I rode it to Deadwood SD. for the Cool Deadwood Nites car show. over the weekend. Great fun riding in the Black Hills.  bittercrick

@Leonard that is a really nice W650.  How many miles on it?   If I had known about your bike I would have definitely given it a look.  Oh well I guess I will just have to make do with the C5 and Bonnie.

i usually do this form in the early hours of the morning . so yesterday, i took out the 71 norton for a spin , it surprises me that it runs so well  after sitting there in the shed for so long . rode about twenty miles .just had to run some fresh gas thru the carbs.

After last week's aborted "brake"-down, I got it done right today with a 175 mile ride on the Guzzi Breva towards Mt. Rainer, after getting "lost" in Puyallup for a bit.  That mountain really looms large long before you get close.

The 744cc twin ran really sweet and got 55mpg for the tank. 

The Breva is great for long distance day rides.  This ride on the Enfield would have been mostly great except for the few freeway stretches heading uphill.  But the Breva has a better riding position and more comfy stock seat.  I would have been sore on the Bullet.

Tomorrow it is the Bullet's turn...

Did get to go up in a non RE airplane the other day. A friend who has a  Grumman Traveller wanted me to check a guy out in it.. So I as glad to accomodate him. Just couldn't turn that one down.

Nice! I once flew a Grumman Tiger from the Bay to Vegas and back. Same time and less fuel that a Cardinal RG. Very impressive little plane, that AA5.

Nope, it was near Orting.  A better day for riding would be hard to find.

No pix today, but I did a very nice 96 mile hot weather ride from Seattle to Ruston, which is really north Tacoma.  The ambient temperature gauge on the Guzzi showed as much as 86F and when near the water as low as 69F.  This bike is better than the Bullet in almost every way, but there is something about a thumper that is just so cool.

The mpg reading at fill-up was 60.  I need a tall cool one!   Where's that frosty beer emoticon?

took the matchless to a antique cycle event sun. the nub at the end of the throttle cable came off..super glued it back together but it would'nt go back together right so action was reversed  towards me =off away = on. weird but i got home. now i need to solder it on correctly.got to see a v8 flathead ford custom bike.and lots of other  unusual bikes.

Rode the Guzzi 44 miles and passed the 1000 mile mark.  The miles are easier to come by on the Guzzi than the C5, but both are fine bikes.

The formerly 100% oil tight Shoved head has been doing all of the commuter duty lately.
Gave her a few adjustments.

This was my summer project, and my first ever sidecar rig. Never even drove one before i started building it. It was partially inspired by Uncle Ernie, RIP. I luckily was able
to correspond with him and get some sidecar advice before he passed.
