Rumor has it, Jack has been seen riding with some Triumph guys.
You didn't hear it from me. ;) ;)

Well, I guess he has to ride with somebody! At least it's not the Hardly Ablesons!

It has too many wheels whatever the hell it is. It won't qualify as a motorcycle, so it's gotta be a car. Don't think it would qualify as such in the states, though.

You've got that right Bare ! Funny you should mention the Hardlies, The only bike that had to be loaded into the chase truck on the Beatty run was a brand new Hardly !
I would much rather ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow    Jack

You know the old tale about Hardleys. 80% of them that were manufactured since 1990 are still on the road...The other 20% made it home!

I'm gonna cafe a cx500.Thing was free,purchase-wise.Nobody likes these,so they are probly purty good.Understand they run forever,that'd be ok.Last Honda I had was a 750 automatic,20+ years ago.Finally over that.

I've seen quite a few cx500 customs, probably for the reason you described Bare. No one seemed to like them, so they come cheap and no one minds cutting one up.  I think they are really cool.  This street-tracker custom comes to mind:

Hey come on now my Harley made it home the other day after riding it, but I did have to push it the last mile or two after the crankshaft snapped, here it is getting ready for surgery

That engine configuration seems to work for Moto-Guzzi.  Why doesn't anyone like the Honda?

I can't speak for others but I thought my CX500 was a heavy, unresponsive, poor handling, poor braking, ugly machine with massive vibration that would put my hands to sleep within 15 minutes at highway speeds.

On the plus side it was very dependable and easy to service.

I called it my Japaguzzi. :)
