well im fitting my S&B air filter and heres advice for everyone about jetting ( these are BASIC Guidelines please dont reley on them )
Bullet 350 vm24 mikuni carb
with standard air filter & exhaust :
main jet 90
pilot jet 25
slide 2.5
with air filter changed and standard exhaust :
27.5 pilot jet
90 main jet
slide 2.5
With standard air filter and aftermarket exhaust
27.5 pilot jet
95/100 main jet
slide 2.0
with aftermarket exhaust and aftermarket air filter:
105 main jet
27.5 pilot jet
slide 2.0
bullet 500 vm28 mikuni carb
with standard air filter & exhaust :
main jet 110
needle jet 08
pilot jet 25
slide 3.0
aftermarket air filter & standard exhaust :
main jet 117.5
needle jet p0
pilot jet 27.5
slide 3.0
standard air filter & aftermarket exhaust
main jet 117.5
needle jet p0

Sorry for bumping an old topic, but how do you come up with these figures? Jetting and adjusting carbs has always been an elusive mystery to me.
