How permanent is an electronic ignition conversion?

I am running a Pazon Energy booster electronic ignition system, which is a kind of a halfway house. It retains the points to time the ignition but they now switch a minimal trigger current, so all the spark goes to the plug and the points don't burn away.

I could put the system back to standard  points in half an hour by replacing the condenser and reconnecting a single wire.

 Sounds like the thing for me!
I like the idea of points, without a load on them, doing the interrupting thing
and the associated electronics driving the coil. An easy fallback if the electronics fail.
I'll be looking into the Pazon Energy booster soon.

Reducing the current going thru the points is a good thing but the cam still needs to have a light coating of grease on it or the fiber block will wear away changing the points gap and the timing.
