Steering damper
«
on:

Just got sidecar attached to G5 and definitely need a steering damper for wobble. VW bug steering dampers are commonly used - anyone know what the measurement is from closed to full extension for them? Looks like i need 10" travel for maximum steering flexibility. Thanks, Al

Installed vw bug steering damper and it made a huge improvement - no more wobble at any speed. Attached to sidecar frame and a bracket mounted at top of forks just below headlight.
