Engine Cutting out after warming up

Hi,
My 2010 C5 is cutting out on me once it warms up in the afternoons. I’m not having any issues at all in the mornings when it’s cooler out. It doesn’t sputter or anything, it just completely cuts out and dies. I can restart after a few minutes but then cuts out again after a few min of running.
I need my bike back by sat for a charity run. Any suggestions?

It sounds like the symptons of a failing crankshaft position sensor. When they overheat up the bike will die, wait a few minutes for it to cool off then the bike will run again. Obviously more symptomatic in hot weather. Its mounted next to the alternator and controls the ignition timing.
