Changing bars

I would like to change my handlebars to something slightly taller and pulled back farther than the stock bars on my 08 AVL. The springer solo seat sits higher than stock so I'd like to raise my arms to a more nuetral position. If I remember correctly, stock +5" cables were once available. Has anyone changed their bars, and are the longer cables still available? My stock bars and cables create a tight angle from the headlight ports to the current clutch control lever. Any advice on handlebar mods would be appreciated.

I had some bars on mine for awhile that had about a 4" rise. they were very comfortable and the stock cables worked fine.

Oh, I am a bit late here but I have a set of Higher and wider bars on my 95 I would trade for those stock 08's . Even Steven, I will send you mine and you can give em a try and see if you like em. I put them on when I had the sidecar on and now I really would rather have the lower set bars. I also have a set of stock 95 bars that are about the same but an inch narrower.
