Decompressor not working?
«

Has anyone had problems with the decompressor not working? My B5 recently has become a lot harder to kickover and when kicking through has developed a random loud click in the exhaust a lot like the decompress click.
The bike still electric starts fine but I m worried a dodgy decompressor will kill the sprag clutch.

It might need replacement..you can take the RHS cover off and check the spring/flyweight combo on the cam for damage/looseness of the cam nut.
Reading other threads, I think the auto-decompressor is necessary for the safe and optimum running of the engine and sprag. As per
