I am new to forum I just moved to Lynchburg VA from Deer Park NY ( its on Long Island) I just retired from the NYPD end of July and as a retirement present to me I will be looking to pick up either a C5 or G5 early next year, test drive will help make final decision I was just wondering if any C5 or G5 owners reside in or near Lynchburg also wondering if anyone has had any experience with a particular dealer Velocity Motors in Richmond VA as that is the closest dealer and will be the one I will most likely use thanks Jerry

Do a "Search" (at the top of the page) for "Velocity Motorcycle"
There have been several threads, previously, mentioning them.

Mike here in Norfolk. I've visited Velocity Motors a few times and they are seriously into classic and vintage bikes which makes them a natural for the REs. They had a generous selection when I was last there and a following of loyal owners. Lots of greats roads around Lynchburg perfect for a thumper. Let us know what you decide.

I bought my AVL from Velocity and had some warranty work done there as well. Seem like good people to me. Oh, and I live about 25 North of Lynchburg and yes, there are some great rides in this area. Also, one of the mechanics at Honda-Suzuki of Lynchburg has an iron barrel RE, so local service is not a problem.
