I totally want one! I've been thinking about building an electric bike for a while but this looks so much simpler. Add one 12V battery to run the lights and you're all set for the street!

Used to have some CO2 powered model airplane engines. Hey were generally only about .1-.4 ci. they were interesting but didn't really offer a lot on long flights! These were popular back in the '40s.
The picture is a more modern built one, but it's about the same as the early ones.

Way cool! I immediately thought bicycle motor too. I would love to bicycle everywhere if only not for those pesky hills! Or I guess I could just get in better shape!
