Hello! Just put some new pipes on my bike so i figured now would be as good a time as ever to post a pic or two.
Mods so far:
D&D Exhaust (love it)
Pillon Seat
Bullet turn signals (cant stand the stems!)
Big front light and visor
I did have some sweet bar end mirrors on there but i like the weights better. I dont mind looking over my shoulder!
Sorry about the cell phone pic, will post better ones soon.

Questions for the community:
1. Im going to run some knobbies- shinko 244 dual sports. They seem to be the only 18" i can find. Do you know how big i can go front and rear?
I was thinking 3.5" up front and 4.6" rear....

The bike looks great! Love the black exhaust.
I think 4.6 might be a bit too big for the rear. The width of the rim is stamped on it. Find that, then check the manufacturer's sit for that max size that will fit that rim.

Im going to run some knobbies- shinko 244 dual sports.
those are nice looking tires, the tread pattern is very similar to a K70 - but with more meat on them. It will be good to know how much better they hold up !
I'll be mounting a Shinko 705 on the back of my B5 next season when the maxxis classic wears out.

i have shinko 241.
http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/11/53/802/18730/ITEM/Shinko-SR241-Front-Rear-Dual-Sport-Tire.aspx
i was going to go 3.5 front and 4.0 rear.
the 3.5 was too wide for the front fender so i put the 3.5 in the rear and 3.0 front.
these tires lood good on the bike but handle very differently. they follow every line on the road and do not inspire confidence in the corners. when they go i will replace them with pirelli mt66's.

I just put MT66s on mine. They really handle nicely, but I haven't had them in the mountains yet to test their tractive abilities. Thursday, they will get their workout.
