Please get pictures of the left side of the Cafe Racer? Seen several pics of the muffler side, none of the rear disc or shift linkage/footrest, or the front caliper and rotor for that matter. Thanks!

According to a small article in The L.A.Times car section about the IMS show in Long Beach, the Enfield Continental Cafe Racer will start being sold in the U.S. in August.

Saw the bike at the IMS show today, nice to look at for sure ! I just had to climb aboard and wasn't really impressed with the feel. I'm 6 ' and really had to reach for the grips and the pegs were too high IMHO. The worse part was the seat, hard and rough on the jewels. I'll stick to my G5 but the bike is going to be a definite success judging from the many fans admiring it.

Well, it sure looks the part to me. It is a Cafe Racer after all, so long reach to the bars, pegs up high, firm seat would seem to me to have hit the mark.
Anything else would fall short.....if it gets good ride reviews maybe I'll be selling my Benelli Cafe Racer for a Royal Enfield Cafe Racer!!!

Thanks for the pics Jack. Any idea about the specs? Is it a 535?

Another thing I noticed is the new B5 in the background - silver/white pinstriping instead of gold and the white/silver tank wings

Beautiful bike! Thanks for posting. I am looking forward to what eventually shows up next summer. There is just a tiny bit about the goofy handlebars and the silver painted bits that keeps it from being a total stunner.....nothing that we can't fix

http://www.motorcycledaily.com/2012/12/royal-enfield-unveils-2014-cafe-racer/
535cc - 36 bhp - Paioli suspension - twin cradle frame by Harris engineering - 47 lbs lighter - definitely a fun bike to ride
