Thundering in AVL style
« on: January 03, 2013, 03:46:17 AM »
hello bulleteers,
After waiting for more than 15 years and quarter of billion miles on a lot of other bikes, 2013 came in the form of a pre-owned Royal Enfield Thunderbird. (I believe its a India specific model).

Its basically a Machismo 350, factory modded to be a comfier tourer.

Since last 3 days it's been quite a revelation and i have to un-learn and learn a lot of things :)
I am sure i am in good company of enfield gurus, as this is my first ever Enfield.

Here is only picture that I have of her.

It indeed is. just over 8000 miles on the clock, engine is punchy and noisy like a AVL :) pulls cleanly and fortunately the previous owner didnt crash it.

I got some electrical issues to sort out, hopefully i would be able to do that over the weekend.
