Royal Enfield rear wheel easy to remove

The owner's manual of my 1999 Bullet helpfully suggests that you tip the motorcycle over on its center stand and fish the wheel out from under the fender and muffler. I've done that. It's no fun.

The muffler is only on 1 side. The other side is wide open. I'd tip the bike and kick the wheel out 20 times before I'd waste my time to unbolt the fender.

even easier if you rock it on the centerstand onto a
2 x 4.  less than a 10 minute job once learn the tricks...

If you have the early B5-Style frame. take the two bolts put of the front of the fender braces and the fender will hinge up to allow the removal of the wheel.

That is the best...BUT when youput it back on make sure to line it up and torque proper or problems may arise.

If you can find a strategic drop in the surface you're putting the bike on (say, a curb or a where a steep driveway begins to slope down) and back the bike up to it, the wheel will come right out.

A short length of 2x4ish wood is also a good thing to carry on long trips.

Good Vid but only "cute" if you've got a solo seat...

in which case it is much handier and faster to rock the bike and slip the wheel out from the side. Especially if you also have the brackets for saddlebags removal of seat is a tedious process.
Anyway the tip is not in my owner's manual. Possibly C5 only?
