Elec. start
« on: February 06, 2013, 03:55:53 PM »
Can anyone tell me if it is possible or even worth it to convert a 2003 elec start bullet to a modern version elec start to do away with the ugly, ( in my opinion ) hump casting? Thanks for any input. Bill in Az.

Not going to happen. You can delete the ES for KS only and at least get rid of the hump. You really don't need ES unless you have some type of physical problem that won't allow you to kick it.

I dumped the hump in October.  It was slightly challenging but not too difficult.  Glad I did.  It looks so much better, I hated that hump.

Reminds me of a weight loss infomercial. HA!

I can kick it over, But.. I have a sidecar and the lash up is in the way of the kick start lever.  Thanks for the answers, I had a feeling it was a no-go.  Bill.
