Clutch Operator Assy
« on: March 30, 2013, 11:08:38 PM »
I installed the new improved COA today and found it does not work correctly. So the new version is hinged compared to the old fishhook design. The problem I see is the arm is so close to the case that the cable angles over quite a bit. I thought that one of the fixes of the new assy. was better geometry. The other thing I thought was weird was the hinged box on the end that the cable end hooks into faces down. For this to properly work it would need washers under the assy. to push it towards the gearbox and align the cable. The only thing I can think is that the case was redesigned for this new assy. Has anyone experienced the same thing attempting an upgrade?
