Cloth covered wiring

I am guessing this was not a popular item(s) but what happened to the cloth covered wiring. I was hoping to switch to that at some point. Oh well.

It is available from antique car parts vendors. The reason it received a bad rap was that the cloth covered rubber insulation,that cracked, let in the moisture ya da da dah.
George Lucas (the prince of darkness) actually had a reasonable product(s), but the water was the downfall. I had a Jag XK150S that would always let me down in the rain,but would self cure when dry

O.K. I was thinking this was a more "modernized" item that had been available through CMW. As my bike lives outside I don't think I care for the cloth wrapped wiring after all.

However, the new replacement wiring is some type of pvc, and will last until the rodents eat it. It really looks nice, I have a cloth sparkplug wire that is red w/ yellow dashes, looks real authentic. The core is silicon 7mm.

I ordered mine through CMW as soon as I saw it... looks just fine.  I have to admit that the clear PVC covering is cracking a little, but I think it's mostly decoration.  If CMW doesn't carry it anymore, you can try here:  www.vintagewireworks.com

I guess I am just disappointed that there is no longer the pre-assembled, for the Bullet. looms available.
     I would like to have that spark plug wire though. Have to check that out.
