It seems to work pretty well, I especially like the search feature over the other site. I would like to see a little larger viewing area on the product zoom. Once you zoom in you can't see the whole photo and can't scroll around to view it.When clicking on wheels and tires under parts & accessories I get one of those windows popping up that tells me it can't open the site. You guys just keep improving, good work.
Much nicer than the existing pages. I like the zoom feature.
Nice! One issue I found is if you go under Parts & Assec... then go to Performance, then select "view all", I get a bunch of code instead of product.
I rather like it.Page 7 in 'Performance' appears to be MIA though.
Very nice. I like the navigation.
From the "Featured Product" area on the store homepage, clicking on any of the "browse all" leads to a page not found. Also, will there be reviews of products?
I'd like to see some measurements included on the items. It's tough to tell, for instance, how big turn signals are, how wide the steel side carrier frames are, etc.
As a new buyer, I'd also like to see more views of the bike models on the main site: shot from behind, closeup, instrument details, etc. 10-15 photos would make it easier to choose what bike is right for me.
We're starting to get creative here as to what we can do in our own makeshift studio and we're also working to coordinate and share some of these efforts with Royal Enfield Motors, so I think it's safe to say that you'll see cool new shots and material here in the not-too-distant future.
really like the new store look, though it could use a user review option. it's nice to hear other's opinions on product so i can make a more informed decision.
You can get great "studio" results by simply taking photographs of products on an overcast day outside. No sun, limited shadows, the lighting is perfect. Get some large sheets of white paper to place product on and you're golden. This is what I did when I worked at a not-so-wealthy design studio back a few years ago.
We often times have to laugh at ourselves. Some of our pictures are old and really need to be replaced. The sidecar cover is perhaps the best example
ThanksI'm happy to say that we do have user review system on the new store. There is a link to the product reviews on each item detail page. Visitors (including guests without a store account) can submit reviews.
oops, you're right. i missed that. perhaps what i meant was a more visible option, perhaps with a star rating system that gives a general impression on the products, or even better, a couple of the reviews right below the entry for immediate perusal.
Your on line store sucks
Can't find the 350cc fenders anymore (they showed up in the old store site)
Can't find the premium cables.
there is problem with Edit Address and Change Billing/Shipping Address under each one shown
Is there going to be the "traditional" August Clearance Sale this year?
On the back of the newest catalog it shows a trailer hooked to an RE...I haven't seen it anywhere on this orthe asian iron site. Where can I get a price and info?
Hi CMW Online Team - I have been trying to place an order for a couple of things I need (7" preassembled headlight and a side stand) but I never get past the stage of "Add to Cart" on any one item...i.e. it keeps "circling" and after 15-20 mins ends up in a "500 Internal Server Error" page. I have tried it at multiple times in the day over this weekend but same result. Is this a problem you are already aware of? Cheersshotime
Confusion : The part #s for main jets, they suggest are hex head jets for VM series Mickarbs , & i don't think they be retrofitted on a CV BS29 carb which has slotted head type main jetsI have my own doubts but would appreciate if any tech. experts, watching this post could help
I like the shop by model compatibility option. It decreases the time I've spent wading through parts that don't fit my bike
