Anyone try this vibration reducing bar end gizmo?  Seems like they had the old Bullets in mind.  I guess Electras have their own system...maybe the UCE bikes, too.

My G5 Deluxe came with similar bar end weights with napoleon/stadium bar end mirrors bolted to them. I left them on the "Factory Wrist Torture Bars" when I sold them, after replacing them with Superbike brand Low Euro Bars.
   I have ridden British & Italian Singles for about 50 years, & never had any of the problems described in the Bar End Vibranator Weight Ad. Aside from thinking they are "snake Oil", I believe Our UCE Enfields all have a Counter Vibration Dampener built into the Crank/Flywheel Assembly. So they actually do not Vibrate anything like their ancestors.

I got pretty excited when I saw the name of this topic until I found out that Vibranators are just a weight for some handlebars.

I had such high hopes too.  :(

 Hopefully not to disappoint but the UCE has no counter vibe thingys at all.
It is a better built engine with a better balanced and truer running crank.

 IMHO/e it is the hands down #1 smoothest running of all non counter vibe weighted big bore factory singles out there.
I can break it better,,,,at night, in the rain, on the trail,, 20 miles from nowhere.

That 2001 BMW thumper I was riding last month sure seemed like it had a lot more vibration that the Blackhawk does.  My throttle hand would start falling asleep after about 20-30 minutes of riding, and that pretty much sucks when you have a 45 minute ride in traffic.  In the BMW's defense, I will say that I did install vibration reducing enduro grips on the Blackhawk that I really enjoy.  Very soft, sticky and comfy, and I don't hardly even notice vibrations in the handlebars anymore.

Mine is so SMOOOOOOTH, I thought there was some vibration compensation. It vibrates EVEN LESS when not running.

I put a pair of Barkbusters on my B5 last week and the bars vibrated so bad it put my hands to sleep.  Last Monday I filled the bars with #4 lead shot and that seems to have tamed the beast.  Sometimes the old ways are the best ways.

I guess vibrations are personal things. My RE vibrated some, but was never an issue. It didn't put my hands to sleep or any other such thing. In fact, I thought it was rather comforting. My SR500 vibrated a lot more than the Enfield and did put my hand to sleep. A friends old Yamaha XS(excessive vibes)-650 twin was far worse than the SR-500. I had an MZ-250 Six Days and a Maico 360 that I could ride two or three miles and just couldn't hold on any more. They were that bad.My Goose has a light vibration mode which has reduced a lot since it's broken in. It initially as about the same as the Enfield in some RPM ranges, but, like I said, it has smoothed out considerably. When I test rode it, the salesman asked me if I thought it was really smooth. I had to tell him, "No, it was about the same as the Enfield!" He didn't believe me, I guess. But it was! It's almost unnoticeable now.
Different bikes definitely have different vibrations. I like the low speed thumper shake a lot better than the high RPM buzz that a lot of fours have.

Since the Yamaha SR400 is available again, there is another non-countershaft machine.

Vibranators price is too high for me, so I went to the hardware store and picked up two short brass pipe from the plumbing department. Added a brass end cap with theaded rod through the center. I installed two rubber plugs (also from the hardware store) to the other end of the theaded rod.  I then forced assembly into the handlebar, rubber plugs-end first.  I'm not sure if it reduces vibration, but I like the way it looks and I had fun building it.
