Well, honestly, I personally would try really hard to get it for a $1K.  But it's definitely not worth more than $2K.  I think $1200-$1500 would be a fair price for both parties tho.

Well I am sure that smoker is not planning to part it out and therefore has to balance the cost of trying to put a running motorcycle together against the cost of purchase.  Smoker is not buying a set of crankcases but the potential of a running classic motorcycle, not easy to value.
