Homemade Tail light
« on: May 21, 2014, 02:25:33 AM »
Since I can't keep the vinylplastic molding in place under the trials style tail light (it separates the light assembly from the fender) I want to make a replacement light. If anyone has any ideas for what would look good on a grungy military style Enfield I am all ears. I have heard of some who have even used a beer can as the housing. I am open to looking at stuff on the Web but don't want to drop much money on the thing.  -Ed

yea, just a run of the mill trailer lite will do. I used that
bulky boxy Enfield mount but there are generic
ones out there as well. I didn't want to drill any more
holes in the fender...

I went with the same type setup for now, only the LED variety.  Bright, safe, and looks decent...
