if most performance upgrades can't be used with avl,

why are all models avl standard now?  (there is no es/ks option)

doesn't seem to make too much sense, i thought 65% of bullets sold were iron engine?

Not anymore.

There are several performance upgrade components and kits available for the AVL-based RE. There were three kits which were popular over a year ago when I did my upgrade ( http://members.verizon.net/allofusmorrows/PerfUpgrade.htm ) - and there's bound to me more now.
