Duck Bill Breather Tube........
« on: October 19, 2008, 07:00:00 PM »
This is the BEST accessory I have purchased for my RE. It does away with the oil catch tank on the airfilter which fills with oil and fouls your filter. Just remove the old rubber tube coming out of your crankcase and replace it with the duck bill tube. Lay the duck bill part of the tube over your chain.  The oil vapor coming out of the tube will lube the chain and keep it nice and clean. As a plus, the lubricated chain won't need to be adjusted as much. Best of all.......its only $5.95 from Kevin......Dewey.
If it hurts, you're not dead yet!!!!!

whoa up there Doc! what are you looking at for 89 bucks?  The duck bill is part #140167.  You can see it here:  http://store.royalenfieldusa.com/duckbill-breather-hose

I was looking at the kit Z90030 (Breather Modification Kit)$ 89.95 for my 08 deluxe.

http://store.royalenfieldusa.com/breather-modification-kit.

So I don't need the whole kit to do this?  Just the tube?  That would be great!

The two best things, the fuggly oil catch breather gizmo can be removed, and the nice Caterpillar fart noise they make when the engine is shut off. ::)
