I think you are right about the minimum speed but with the pace of traffic being what it is, I would be uncomfortable doing the minimum on the Interstates around here.

One thing that kept me from buying the Iron or AVL was VInce's sage advice to NOT use either on the Interstates. Although I'm not a fan of the freeway, I do like motoring out of Seattle eastward on I-90 to jumping off points to ride the backroads here and there and eventually back to town. The Guzzi is overkill for that as it is content to go all day 70-80 mph in relative ease and comfort.
The G-5 might well be my next bike. Vince doesn't need to roll his eyes just yet (I've left him at the altar twice).
