Chrome Fuel Tank

Does anyone know who is offering the chrome fuel tank? Not the trials version. The standard-style tanks I see from timt to time on ebay motors, (there is one there now), on Electras with no knee pads and black stripe on top.
Gorgeuos piece I'm seriously considering but don't see it here.
Imported??

Paul,
That's the "Machismo" tank.
The Machismo is a model that isn't offered in the US. It's an India home-market model, which is their deluxe version of the Electra. CMW has had these tanks for purchase in the past, and hopefully will again.
The last time I looked, they were out of stock.
Hitchcock's is also out of stock.
The tank is imported from India.
The Machismo tank requires some kind of special locking gas cap that is the only type that fits it, so that has to be purchased with it, or you'll never find a cap.
I agree, a very nice looking tank.

As usual Ace is right. The good news however is that the export models of the UCE which are more like our current models come with this tank and a cap similar to the one on other export models. Not before sometime in late spring though. If you buy the EBay model it is possible that we have some caps left over from the last batch of Machismo tanks we had. Call Tim at 800-201-7472 - what you are looking for is the cap that is labeled "Common key set" - don't ask it took us months to figure out thatt the boxes with this label were actually caps.
