« on: January 12, 2009, 08:54:50 PM »
As a proud new owner of a 2009 Enfield bullett Military i really kinda want to put a number plate on the frount fender of my bike, like the one the company sells, but i thought it would be cool to have it custom, like say what i want, ive googled it but cant really seem to find anything. that being said is there anyone on here who know a company that makes reproduction vintige british motorcycle number plates?

Thanks
Gabe

Gabe, you can buy a CMW plate (and mounting hardware); and, go to a store that makes vinyl signs (plate in hand) and have your sign design cut on vinyl to put on your Military's plate.  I wish untold hours of fun with your new RE!

Gabe, if you look in any of the British vintage motorcycle mags in the back page ads you will find a company that makes embossed plates. They emboss the plates then sandwich them together. Pretty cool but probably expensive. I went to a sign shop and had my numbers and letters done in 1/8" white plastic with a thin 3M adhesive on the backside. They cut them out with a CNC router, and they look fantastic; giving the plate that embossed look.  Blltrdr

Very nice plate design, Greenie!  I particularly like the old's cool play on words!  Job well done, man!
