Bullet in California

I hope this is the right forum to ask this question.
How can I own a bullet in California? I don't see any dealers in this state, and I have heard of the work arounds. How reliable are these work arounds to own a bullet in CA?
Thanks for the advice and information!

Go to the dealer locator in the bikes section on his page. Click on Nevada. Scroll down to the Sun Valley Service Center. Call the # ask for Guy, he will be able to answer all your ?'s. Tell him Brad from Washington told you to call him. Very knowledgeable dealer, especially when it comes to helping Californian's purchase a Bullet. Wish you well in your quest Kaarigar!

Thanks for the reply, I will call the number. I am looking forward to buy the C-5.
BTW, what don't they try and get the carb clearance for California - after all they meet the EU guidelines - don't they?
Thanks!

For what it is worth, meeting EU guidlines has no real relationship to meeting US guidlines. They look at different things. One thing that I only recetnly learned is that you only have to put a bike on a dyno and take reading for a very limited period of time to call it good. In the US you have to run the bike over a prescribed course for at least 12,000km before you can call it good.

Thanks, Kevin. This may be slightly OT for this thread, but when do you expect C-5 delivery to start?

OK, they have to be regestered in another state for atleast a year, and have over 7500 miles in the speedo. Its better to buy one used anyway the way Bullet's loose in resale value. You can pick one up for half the price, and loaded with accesories.
