Well, I would like to start off saying that I am an Idiot when It comes to R.E. My Bike And I have been having some very good times since I figured out that THE SPEEDO IS TRULY OFF LIKE 5MPH! Since I figured out this nice to know tidbit life has been much better. No more lugging the engine and fouling plugs. It has been absolu7tely great! Long live RoyalEnfield!

P.S. At 200-300mi. you will definitely want a complete service, everything is loose on my bike even though it is running great. I mean chain .clutch etc.

Hi Jon.  You aren't an idiot !  There bikes are like chicks. You gotta figure out what makes em happy, and everyone's happy.  lol   But anyway.  Don't be afrade to keep things adjusted. Even if it not at scheduled mileage.  My primary chain get  loose once before scheduled maintence, and it ended up taking out my cluch basket assembly.  But anyway. What model Bullet ya got ?
