G5 Military...how does it look stock?

Oh, you're sneaky ones...I read about the "rumored" G5 military on these boards and voila now it has an official page. What does this bike look like "stock"? I think I might like it more than the C5. Does it come with the single springer saddle and some sort of bags?

Don't quote me but it has the bags and solo seat as an option. Probably has the stock 2 up saddle, and no panniers far as I know. But those items are a reasonably priced option. Will.

That's what I thought.......so the military is essentially a deluxe in green? Hopefully the solo seat and bags bundled will be cheaper than buying them a la carte. Do you think it might be reasonable to expect the C5 and the military w/solo seat and panniers to be the same price? I hope so.

That would be greatness..I kind of think Kevin and the rest of the group will give us the best possible price once it's all set in stone. Guess we'll have to wait and see. But even at $6095, thats a good starting price. Will.

The metal panniers are a MUST.

Will the upswept "off road only" exhaust interfere with the leather bags (let alone metal panniers)? I really like the tan solo seat and bags but want to put a little more agressive tires and exhaust on the bike and create something more "military"

Ummm...any news? I'd love to know what the bike looks like "stock" and what the MSRP of the "tan accessory" package is. I'm thinking if it comes looking like a Deluxe only obviously all in olive, I want a leather springer saddle first thing. Is that the "leatherette" saddle pictured? II think the upswept pipe would look glorious on the bike as well but am curious about fit with the bags.

We are making the accessory kits for the Military "Dealer Only" items. In other words dealers get the kit at a price from us and are free to sell it for whatever they think is fair. We are not going to publish an MSRP for the kit. You can order the kit piece by piece from us, but you should be able to get a better price from the dealer for the kit.

I'm on vacation and went to the local RE dealer. He only had two instock, both classics. One of them had a solo springer seat on it. One thing I didn't consider is that if you take the stock saddle off the G5 there is an exposed mounting bracket behind where the springer seat is. I was hoping that a stock Military with the solo seat would be the ticket but am now concerned with how it'll look unless there is a rack or something back there. Maybe if the support bracket is olive too it won't look nearly as bad as I fear. Opinions/pics?
