Single guy

Hi all,
The first bike I rode was a '39 Flea smuggled home in the belly of a B17. I've been building / riding BSAs since no one wanted an an an orphan bike and they were cheap. I have a very big soft spot for unit singles and have also developed an unstable left hip, not good for a right shift bike at a stop. Any comments on moving from a shift right / brake left bike to the opposite? Weird having an electric start but I could deal with it. I'm past the peg scraping stuff so 22 or so hp is not a problem. Yup, one scrapes based on speed, not hp.
Thanks,
Jon

***Off topic, sort of***
I subscribe to Motorcycle Classics Magazine. One of their cover articles for the July/August editions is "Texas Singles; Some men prefer the Singles Life". Page 54. No Enfields, but an interesting article nonetheless. One BSA, three Velocette's and a Vincent.
Sorry, the thread topic reminded me of the article.

I moved the thread about the technical aspects of the
Royal Enfield 5-speed transmission and made it it's own seperate topic. It is in this forum at this URL
