Campfire talk come back
« on: October 14, 2009, 10:15:52 AM »
I was worried that campfire talk was on the verge of disappearing.  It appears my fears were unfounded. With some of the lasted post its starting to seem like ole times around here. Things died off for a while after some folks left afew months ago.

Anyway thanks for the rant --and remember be careful out there.

So some cannibals find a traveling canival and do what they do.
Later that day, a couple of them are munching among what's left of a clown.
After a time of silent rumination, one looks over to the other and asks,
"Does this taste funny to you?"
Run what ya brung

Perhaps it's the time of year where people are storing their bikes and not thinking about them much until next year.
So, they make some small talk in the Campfire Talk section.

I have noticed a huge drop-off in technical posting over the last week or so.
And the number of people logged-in is generally much lower than it was a few weeks ago too.

Sometimes I'll go away for hours, and come back to check the site, and not a single technical post has been made, and in some cases no posts of any kind were made.
The site traffic is way down..

My take on the traffic decrease is that back to school and sports seasons are factors in reducing a persons free time to peruse the boards.
I can break it better,,,,at night, in the rain, on the trail,, 20 miles from nowhere.
