Might be a good time to talk it over with CMW since they could probably get you exactly what you want.  Pretty accommodating folks there, I've found.

I am not too fond of the deluxe chrome tank either. Do we know when CMW is going to be importing the new bike?

I rather like the chrome tank on the black bike but the red one is very gaudy.

I'm pretty sure you haven't seen one in person if you describe the red as "gaudy"... do you know what gaudy means?

And if you want more opinions, go over to the Indian website, and on its bulletin board, there is a topic " New Machismo v Electra"! Bear in mind that the Electra in India is the iron engined 350, while the other is the 350 AVL, now also sold in the 500 version. You will find people divided in their views just as they are here! Some of them also prefer the iron engined 350 to the AVL 500!!
