Thanks Papa Juan, 1975 I was 19 and feeling fine. Wasn't racing with Kenny but I was holding my own on a Yamaha 250 in the Carolina mountains. Thanks again; hope to see you & Perla in Hotlanta.

Several years back,an original, unused  TZ 700 engine surfaced here in my state and was purchased by a fellow in MD for the purpose of installing into a street bike
chassis-(which it in fact was).
The TZ 500/700/750 engines and bikes (in road racing config)were made available to
privateers by Yamaha,so I expect that quite a few exist yet today.....There have
been a few  copies or 'tribute' examples of KR's dirt tracker built as well.
To me,that bike has just the right combination of looks , performance and  success that places it in that special category of machines that include the Shelby Cobra, Ford GT 40,
P-51,FW-190D,etc.,etc. A timeless design that continues to impress.....
