Getting something going in the New York area.

Ok, I live in the New York city Metro area. Is there anyone else nearby? Perhaps in the Hudson Valley that wants to get together for a ride. There's got to be someone here. Let's get a list of folks ion the area and we will go riding on some of the twisties in the area and see if we can create a nyc metro chapter of REA going and show folks how to use the club and look like scary biker guys
at the same time.
Come on, we need a roll call here.
Who is in the area?

While not an official REA event we do have an annual get together out here in Seattle.
You might try
instigating
Getting a N.Y.,N.J.,P.A. get together together
( now say that three times really fast)
I think welcoming the family and friends of Bullet owners would be a good idea too.

I'm more upstate (i.e. Schenectady/Albany area) but if you are thinking something in the Westchester or Putnam area I'd saddle up and wander on down. I love to have a R get-together that goes over a weekend and there is some lovely riding in Northern Westchester and Putnam.

Lobsang, I think we met at UK motorsports. I was looking at the G5 Military while Mike was servicing your bike.
Mohawk, are you in the Mohawk valley? My wife is from Little Falls.
Now that we have a few more folks in the area that I know about I will try to put together a ride or something. Anybody with suggestions as to where to ride drop me a line.

I like bikes. I prefer old stylings. Cafe, Super cool. I promise to look into the future and set something up soon. Do you guys have any good routes that you would suggest for a ride?

Didn't want to let this thread die....How about a meet-up somewhere in the Catskills this Fall? Great roads and kinda mid-way between upstate and down...

Anybody want to go for a ride? Let me know. New York metro area, Hudson Valley region, even Northern New Jersey. Come on, someone must want to go riding in a big stupid Biker gang type way with our wacky British Thumperee goodness.
Drop me a line.

Gah!! My bike's been in the shop for the past month. I could still do a meetup in the catskills. Weekend of Oct 23/24 works best for me, pending weather. The wife is out of town. Anyone?

This thread is getting kinda moldy.
thought I'd scrape it off and see if anybody still looking for a group ride. The green goddess will be out for service. But in 2 weeks or 2ND weekend of July. Might make a run up Mt Equinox in Vt. I'm in Albany area.
