Scottie, my little four speed hauling my big butt through the Rocky Mountains would be as epic as those crazy Himalayan riders!  By this time next year I plan to have a UCE or perhaps a Bonnie, haven't decided yet.  Once I have that extra gear and a bit more grunt, I'll gladly make one of those big rides  8)

Hey I'm just as skeptical!  My bike is 55 years old and sat for at least 25 years before I picked it up.  I had anxiety just riding around with Dan K. and I was only 105 minutes from home!  I am starting to get more confidence in her though.  Aside from pissing oil everywhere and electrical problems that are basically completely addressed now, it has been a great bike.  I just have trust issues.  LOL  ;D  Was thinking of going for a nice long ride today, but I don't want to miss the Broncos Championship Game.

Come to think of it Heloego lives in the half way point of Albuquerque........

Considering the # of meth labs operating in this state, "half way house" may have been more appropriate.  ;)

In any case, if anyone heads this way, PM me and maybe we'll meet up!

Sounds like a 4-corners meet up in the works!   8)

That's an excellent idea!  Is anyone else interested in 4-Corners meet up and ride?!   :D

Just fitted the Hitchcock's EFI Classic Silencer to my 2013 C5 - all went well apart from removing the large heat shield has exposed a bit on rough welding and a little sticking out catch for the heat shield to attach to. Anyone else had a similar experience and have a quick fix for this - I'm thinking a miniature heat shield section may be required.

Yes, Hitchcocks provides a very nice heatshield in two different lengths. I have the 30cm one and I am quite pleased. It covers that weld part pretty neatly. You can refer to the 'Photo Gallery'...search for my username and put 'Bullet' in the keywords to see a few pictures of my bike with the heatshield on. Many other members have the same heatshield.

Sweet - that's what I found after posting on the forum so will get one ordered - think I will go for the 18cm option.
Thanks for the help.

Have been wanting to change out the giant 'pillbox' rear end since I got the bike, so finally, and with minimal swearing, swapped out the stock indicators for the hitchcock bullets along with the tail light and plate holder.
I like the result, but now I'll need to get a badge to cover the hole left by the stock tail!

Hi JVS,  Nice looking Tail Light!  Have you considered a red reflector, it would be period correct, & sensible safety equipment. Ebay would be a good place to look under Triumph, BSA, Norton Reflector. Some even have a tapering base & center bolt.
Best Wishes, Craig McClure

Definitely a add on reflector. :)

They were all the rage back in the '50's. :)

Wow!  The birdhouse tail light has really grown on my but this looks super!  Very nice job.  And +1 to a little round reflector to cover that hole.
