Before you bend it, check to see if the front fork lock works.
If it does, did the fork come to a stop and allow the lock to be engaged or did the fork turn past the locking position?

If it went past the locking position and you needed to rotate the handlebars back to the right to get the lock to engage then the stop could be adjusted a bit to stop the handlebars & fork from turning that far.

If the fork stops turning at the same time that the lock will engage, straightening the lock stop back out might keep the fork lock from being able to engage.

Take a look at the other side.  If it's not cracked/fractured you should be able to tap it back into place with a hammer and drift.  If nothing is hitting the tank I'd just leave it.

Look underneath.  There are usually two holes with phillips screws deep down in there.  Careful tightening them back up, it's just soft plastic.

The Hagon shocks showed up finally, so I got them on the bike. What a difference!

I took her home after a long winter's storage.

...and she started on the first kick  8)

The EFI silencer sounds MARVELOUS! Nice thump, no backfiring, and she certainly feels a little more lively off the line. The saddlebags will need a little fidgeting with. The two top straps held fast, but the center snaps came undone, so they hung a little funny on the highway.

Finally got my entire clutch assembly rebuilt and installed a 21 tooth front sprocket.  You can read about it here:

Not sure if the 21 tooth is a smidge too tall or the cross wind was just that nasty.  Only hit 95mph, which is still an improvement over the previous 92mph.

SOOOOOOOOOO damn close!  Rats!    :D

I'll try again later when the wind dies down, it's blowing about 15-20mph right now.

It's only uphill for a little bit!  Then the nice downward slope.   ;)   I really think the wind played a factor today.  It was blowing so hard that when I got over 55mph the camera started cutting the sound from so much wind noise.  Even if I didn't Ton-Up (yet :D ) the bike rides a lot nicer.  Not quite as quick, but still pulls good and hard.  I just can't get over how much better the bike shifts with the rebuilt clutch.  It's pretty damn nice.
