What did you do to your Royal Enfield today?

Weather permitting (and the hourly weather forecast suggests that it will), I'm planning to do a 118-mile loop tomorrow to see what kind of MPG I get in highway riding.

That is why we always mention all the roads traveled so those interested can google it. Originally there was a request from someone in England I believe to do that. I personally have not a clue how to post a frigen map and dont care to learn.

Fitted headlamp peak and black faced clock on fork nut,  anyone know how to remove clock from housing for future reference?

I tried to go a google map on one of our 300 miles trips, and it was always getting lost as it didn't want to follow the roads we were on. Then when I finally got it fairly close after 2 hours or so, the whole thing disappeared. So much for google for me!
I might consider something that does the work all on my hard drive, but nothing that is using this stuff that's parked out on a satellite someplace! New technology, bah, humbug!

John - are you talking about the clocks4bikes unit?  I have an older one... the clock face has a rubber-like gasket around it which holds it in place by friction.  It just pops out - I use a fingernail to get beneath it.

Mine requires removal to set the time, so if yours is the same, your reference might not be too far in the future...

I spent half an hour trying to figure out how to get the Clocks4Bikes face off until, frustrated, I just pried it off and realized that that was the correct way...

Replaced my worn Avon AM26 rear tire with a new one today. I got 5500 miles out of the old one. Not bad concidering I was getting only 1800 to 2000 miles on the K70's. Fix the busted nuckles and clean up the mess in the garage and Im on the road again !

when i did mine i just put in about 6 oz of slime.
so far it appears to work
