I approve  :P

though it would be killer to see a desert storm with some WWII plane art on it or even the green would be cool.

There are some great ones out there with babes riding bombs. I almost went with one of them or a gal on a wrench; but this one had a Bettie Page flair to it.
I got the stickers from http://pinupsplus.com/
They had to print them to size for the battery and toolbox lids

Ran it out of gas on the way from work/bar.  So 292 miles is the official clock time before there's nothing left.  In a desperate attempt to get on the next main drag a few miles from home I some how took a wrong turn.  Now I'm sitting on a bench next to my bike waiting for wife to save my ass.  Who luckily got off of school early tonight and called me just after I sat my kick stand down.  I'm actually good spirited given the current circumstances.   :)

Hammered around the neighborhood on my '05 Military, just learning to ride again after a few decades off. Rolled into the driveway, killed the engine, rocked the bike back on the center stand as the tool box fell open and the lockset clattered to the pavement.

Re-assembled with a touch of Locktite...

I went into work and fixed my clutch problems today.  Turned out the clip that connects the cable to the lever sheared off.  I custom fabbed a new one out of 1/2" stainless steel tubing.  It won't break again.   ;D  Them I gave the friction plates a real good cleaning with brake cleaner.  Clutch now works better than it ever has!  NO slippage at all and a nice range of feel thru the entire pull.

Then on my way home there was some pretty light traffic, I had on all the my gear, and now that motor is broken in nice and running great with about 1600 miles clocked, I decided to run her for all she had coming down I-70. I had a nice open straight stretch with no traffic in front of me for about 2 miles.  The temp and weather was perfect, 65*F clear skies and no wind.  The fastest I've run it before was 89mph GPS/112mph Smiths Speedo.  This afternoon I just stayed in it to win it!  The needle kept creeping so I kept cranking!  Closer and closer, little by little.......

I DID IT!  I BURIED THE SPEEDO AT 125MPH!!!
WHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

I'm not a rocket scientist by any means, but by my math with my speedo being about 20% fast, that is good for EXACTLY 100mph!  Damn I wish I had the GPS turned on!    ;D  Holy crap what a rush on a 55 year old bike!
