birdmove,Vince, Eamon, stipa, prof_stack, jonapplegate, Juggernaut, RE-curious, jest2dogs, teckhardt, ranger800, 500KsGerry, Ice, SLOhound, Blltrdr, Teebo, toddygirl,
So that's 17 interested people. Bill Harris will be interested too . That would make 18.
So is all we're waiting on is an engine break in, a starter, a set of tires and nice weather?
Any ideas on a rally point ? a start point ? a lunch spot ?

Hi all,
The suggestion was made that maybe we should start with a motor cycles optional "plan the ride/GTKY/get together" before a big ride. What do you think ?
I kind of like the idea because (a) It gives a chance for folks to come to consensus on where and when to go for a ride (b) It also gives folks a chance to get repairs and adjustments done and make preparations and schedule changes.
What do you all think of meeting in the middle with the southern wet siders meeting up with the northern wet siders some where in or around Tacoma ?
The down side to that is that would be a haul for our dry siders.
My schedule is pretty flexible so I can adjust to the majority.
Any suggestions ?

Sounds good to me. I like the idea of a meetup and planning stage as a first step.

Great idea, Ice. The best times/days for me for the GTKY are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. I don't know Tacoma at all, so I don't have any suggestions for the place to meet. Now...if folks wanted to meet in Georgetown, Seattle, that's another story

Youse guys...are making me jealous! I'm stuck here in the midwest, it is forcast to snow tomorrow, and you're planning on riding some of my old stoping ground.
Long, long ago, in a galaxy fa,r far away, I was once a Navy Brat; I grew up in Oak Harbor. I still have friends on the peninsula and visit when I can. Now with the MC selling season heating up, I don't think I can get away to visit until fall.
maybe then,

Hello all,
Just started checking out this forum again after a long break. Great to see all of this activity.
Meeting in the Seattle area is good with me.
Looking forward to it.

Weekends are good, though , as of April 6th my days off get kinda funky. Depending on the month, I will alternate between Sat./Sun. off and Fri./Sun. off.
Darn, we were all getting to enjoy a 32 hour workweek with three days off. Now we are going to 40 and will be alternating split weekends!!
Ya' either have the time or the money but not both. Ain't it the truth...
