REA owners anonymous

When I was a member of the BMWMOA we had a list of club members who were willing to help riders touring in their area. Is there any interest in something like this for the REA? I could offer a trailer, work space, work tools, mechanical assistance, temporary bike storage, a camp spot and coffee. It would be nice to know where you might find a little help if needed while traveling. Any thoughts?

i' m with you on this one . i could offer same here in wis.. in fact a few years ago oleo toured wis on his military and camped out in my apple orchard. we hung out a bit and went on a small ride. there are some pics in members rides (military with cannon) maybe we could have a small rally next summer.

We have a roster in the Studebaker club and it is "kinda" expected that one mite be called upon............with Enfields,pretty much guaranteed.

I remember the BMWOA anonymous list from before e internet. Never had to use it myself. I have been on some other (scooter) forums that gave you the option of displaying your location. Some people would list the town, others something silly but it was nice to have that option. Knowing where members are would allow some to connect when on the road.

 I too wish more folks would stick a pin in the members map and list a general location.
I would not want the location to be exact.

 It would be nice to PM forum members before traveling through their REgion to see if they wanted to link up and share the ride for a couple miles.
