no thanx...  while it was tore down at 18,000 miles all looked good; ring gap was ok but I had new rings put in anyway; 2,000 miles later and they STILL haven't set in...  I'm blowing oil out the breather... watching it very close...  piston was OK. While in there he had a rod and bush that he had switched out of a 100 mile bike;I polished the rod and it is in mine now.. - Mike

Last winter at 18,000 miles when I had the output shaft replaced, they went ahead and lapped the valves while they were in there... new Samrat rockers and ready for another 20,000 miles...

Do you have both keys for the bike on the same keychain? Or do you have two Enfields? :-)
