Alloy rear fender

Description: This fender is a lightweight alloy fender which I used aluminum tubing to mount to the bike. Much lighter than the original... it will help me attain my mpg goals for my ride this summer...

In case you're worried... I do plan on putting the military fender & panners back when I'm done :)

The idea was for the mudguard to pivot. It's attached at three points: either side of the suspension unit, and at the front a piece of metal wraps around the pivot bolt of the suspension itself... so it floats....

None the less, there's too much vibration added so I'm going to redo those.

Do you have a fender strut attached to the shock mount ? or am I just seeing it wrong? Does the whole fender float?
