It doesn't touch the number plate, it hangs about an inch above it (can't tell from the angle in this picture).

USD 24 sounds great!. You might want to move the tool roll to the rear though. After a long period mine had an opening in the middle due to the mudguard number plate. Maybe I strapped it to hard.
